🗃 Where is the data stored?

Qualia (questions and answers and other settings) are securely stored in a private MySQL database at Heroku. Like most web apps, Qualia uses SSL to encrypt data in transit.

The questions and answers pass through the servers of the relevant AI service. Data for OpenAI models are retained for 30 days for US compliance purposes. Data for Google Gemini models are retained for 24 hours. In no case is data used for training any LLM.
